I was turning left at an intersection and left the intersection when the light was yellow, when I was in the center of the intersection, the light turned red and I saw a red light camera flash. Whether someone was behind me at the time, I don't know, because if that were the case, itd be flashing at them. I'm not even sure if i got a ticket to begin with, I just want to cover my bases.

Admittedly, I applied as a freshman because I went to CC through dual-enrollment, but I have a friend who was actually a transfer student. You can definitely transfer, and since it's in state, your credits will probably all be accepted.

We are having aggression issues with our shelter dog. We desperately need to find a qualified, trustworthy dog trainer that will work with us to solve his increased aggression towards other dogs and children. "Calming signals" by Turgid Rugass, is the best.
Also, look at "Bringing Light to Shadow", "the other end of the leash" and "Click to calm".
I've tried evvvvvvverything. I gotta admit, having all "nice" dogs before, i never ever HAD TO learn the things i've learned since i fell in love with my lil gangsta. It is an ongoing process, and i experience such a thrill when i can get him to pass by other dogs while being calm. My heart wants to pop, looks like ordinary moment to anyone else, but to me, is like we just climbed a mountain.
The thing that has helped my dog MOST, is learning and using calming signals, and following Kikopup's youtube videos.
I taught Buddy the cue "look at me" and when he does, i yawn at hm, and slowly blink. He understands, and often (not always, but often) calms down. what a thrill, then is hard for ME to stay calm, ha ha.
I must must must do this in earliest stages of his reaction, it is pretty useless once he is in full blown imitation of a breeching whale...
but, that has helped my gangsta more than anything else i've tried.
oF course, each dog is different, but, i wasted an entire YEAR on trying this "distraction/focus on me" routine that is wildly popular to try on D.A.ds. (dog-aggressive dogs). Yes, my dog will be calm, looking at me while ignoring other dog---but, it is way more exhausting to keep his attn' on me, than it looks, and it does NOTHING to change his inner attitude.

Our dogs sound VERY similar. Our guy can also be people aggressive if very stressed. Only on one occasion has he "snapped" giving a warning bite (no broken skin) to my nephew who is three years old. We are now with a CPDT in Tallahassee, but do you have videos on people aggression to suggest?

Why does the temperature in Tallahassee, Fl drops more drastically than other cities?
they may have a high of 80 degrees this afternoon, but the following morning a low of 35.

I'm not sure. I cannot say I have noticed this effect. The air would pretty much have to be colder to the north as it would be modified as the air moved further south. I can see where strong cold front would result in large temperature swings but not such that Tallahassee would colder than Memphis or Atlanta except on rare instances.

I feel for adults this is a great place to live but after living here I wouldn't raise my children here because there is nothing to do here and all the kids get in to trobule. 40% of people who live in Tally are state employees. I use to be one. I now live in wakulla county south of Tally and closer to the coast. We moved because the cost of news homes were cheaper and school systems are great and rated much higher than Leon county. Wakulla county is 20 minutes from leon so we are very close to go to the stores, doctors, etc. I would reccomend that you come for a visit a few times and check it out and see if you like it.

Psychological counselling, with a sliding scale, based on income, is available through many religious organisations, such as Catholic counselling, the Methodist church, the Unitarian Universalists, and sometimes the United Way. You don't have to be a member. (U.S.A.) Google: "clinics; mhmr; (your city); (your state)" I have been variously informed that the phone numbers 211, and 411, are appropriate. Counselling, while helpful, at least in the early stages of treatment, is insufficient in many cases. St. John's wort helps most people; tolerance doesn't develop, and the few side effects don't occur often, and even then are normally not severe (neither they, nor antidepressants should be relied on as a sole treatment).

Take with a meal) or supplements, such as SAMe, or Inositol (from vitamin and health food stores, some supermarkets, or mail order: view section 55).
There is a law in Florida called the Baker Act. Anyone who needs mental health treatment and might be a threat to themselves or someone else, will be taken in and accessed by a emergency room hospital. They must be willing to admit they need help and willing to sign themselves in or, you must be willing to take them to the hospital and report the problem they are having (threatening to hurt themselves or someone else). They can be held for up to three days for evaluation in a treatment center. If it is they do need intervention, they will be helped or sent to someone who can help. Many times this is free help or on a sliding pay scale. Your friend would be told all the payment options and treatment options after the hospital has their evaluation.
If the problem is not that severe, call the Department of Human Resources in your area and ask who provides mental health counseling for people who do not have the money to pay for sessions. Perika, and Kira brands have been recommended as being effective. Take with a meal) or supplements, such as SAMe, or Inositol (from vitamin and health food stores, some supermarkets, or mail order: view section 55).
There is a law in Florida called the Baker Act. Anyone who needs mental health treatment and might be a threat to themselves or someone else, will be taken in and accessed by a emergency room hospital. They must be willing to admit they need help and willing to sign themselves in or, you must be willing to take them to the hospital and report the problem they are having (threatening to hurt themselves or someone else). They can be held for up to three days for evaluation in a treatment center. If it is they do need intervention, they will be helped or sent to someone who can help. Many times this is free help or on a sliding pay scale. Your friend would be told all the payment options and treatment options after the hospital has their evaluation.
If the problem is not that severe, call the Department of Human Resources in your area and ask who provides mental health counseling for people who do not have the money to pay for sessions. Request names of offices who use a sliding pay scale. You can just go down the phone book and ask offices in your area.

I suggest Florida A%26amp;M, Tallahassee is a better city in my opinion. FAMU is bigger, and a nicer historical college. Jacksonville Univerisity is very small, and kind of lame. Pick the right choice!

Yeah, Tallahassee is one of many spring break locales, so every year you've got thousands of teenages passing through, drinking, smoking pot and, well, generally partying their little butts off. I've never heard any reports about STD's in relation to Tallahassee, but knowing all of that, I'm sure a lot of kids return home with one souvenir that they never actually bought at a store, and most likely wish they didn't have...lol

They used to win 10-11 games a season. These current players can't even beat Wake Forest at home, and to top it off, they can't read or write. I'll agree that FSU is not what they once were. Hell the ACC as I remember it has changed dramatically. But yeah, I think the players committing to the Seminoles program have no respect for the game or the discipline to go out and win games. They use to beat the likes the of Wake, Clemson, and their matchups with Miami were always entertaining...not anymore. Even the rivalry game against the Gators is a snooze fest because lately the Gators have been handing the 'Noles their asses. Perhaps its time for a change. The most recent cheating scandal is proof of that.

blame it on bobby bowden and his " i have to beat that old man from PENN STATE at all cost " he could care less if them kids can read or write . he is a very poor execute for a coach and makes the whole state of florida look like dumbos again. for all you bobby bowden fans remember the polish kicker who got away with everything because he only had to play under international rules. a real leader of men that booby bowden is all crack head parents should send their kids there

Other than knowing how to pour drinks and serve drinks quickly, the main thing a bartender has to do is listen/talk to people. Make sure you are a people person. You have to love to listen too, especially to drunks. You also want to be up to date on local stuff (where the best entertainment spots are, the nearest hotel, the cab's number, etc...) You also need to have at least two jokes you can pull from memory. One dirty, and one you could tell your mother. Both have to be funny. Also be up to date on all sports scores, especially on local teams. Know who is playing who and at what time (make sure to have it on the TV too).
When starting out, it may be tough to get a job. The best thing to do is to apply to all the places that cycle through bartenders/barbacks a lot (like restaurants, hotel bars, etc...) Then find bars that you like personally and become somewhat of a regular at those places. Get to know the other bartenders, owners, managers, and then in a few months drop the line that you would be willing to work for them. Start out as a barback and work your way up. Most small bars are run like families anyway. You will have to know your fellow employees well. That is how I got my first two bartending jobs and eventually made it to bar manager.
Bartending is an extremely fun job. You will meet tons of people and hear lots of interesting stories. Plus you will know alcohol better than the back of your hand. I find it to be quite rewarding when it comes to the bank account too.

That depends on which State or large city you are living in. when appling for a permit. One thing though, go take a gun safety course FIRST-- then learn how to handle that pistol. your police station should know. I would have to think it is similar to michigan and all other states. What i had to do was take a CCW class with a certified instructor. It is a 8 hour class that is split between classroom and time at the shooting range. And then you have to pass a test. Then you will receive a certificate that proves you took the class and passed then you go up to the police department and fill out the paper work and pay the fee. Its $110 and its good for 5 years. If this is your first time getting a CCW in some places you will have to go in front of a committee and answer a few questions. Why do you want this, have you ever been convicted of any felonies or misdemeanors and have you even been commit ed to a mental hospital and are you now or ever where a threat to yourself or others. They will already have a whole back round check on you, so you better just be honest.

your police station should know. I would have to think it is similar to michigan and all other states. What i had to do was take a CCW class with a certified instructor. It is a 8 hour class that is split between classroom and time at the shooting range. And then you have to pass a test. Then you will receive a certificate that proves you took the class and passed then you go up to the police department and fill out the paper work and pay the fee. Its $110 and its good for 5 years. If this is your first time getting a CCW in some places you will have to go in front of a committee and answer a few questions. Why do you want this, have you ever been convicted of any felonies or misdemeanors and have you even been commit ed to a mental hospital and are you now or ever where a threat to yourself or others. They will already have a whole back round check on you, so you better just be honest.

I got a flat tire right next door to a Firestone, so I was able to drive into their parking lot. They told me they could not fix it and I needed a new tire. I told them to put my spare on and they charged me $15. Then I went down the road to a mom %26amp; pop tire shop, and they looked at my flat. It was only a nail in the tire, right in the center and easily plugged for $10. Does Firestone give it's employees classes on how to lie? rich s has the mostly correct answer until he comes to minimum tread to repair the tire. the bottom line in auto repair is just that, 'the bottom line'...they make profits, big profits off selling u a new tire, then charging u 4 the balancing, then charging u 4 disposal of ur old tire, then "inspecting" your vehicle and "finding" things that you should repair...that makes them way more money than fixing a flat.
i went into my local flinstone tire and rubber company store 2 buy 2 new tires after reading their flyer, here was the breakdown:
P235-75R15...20,000 mile tire, $33.95, per their flyer...ok i'll take 2 of them. sorry sir,, i can't sell them to you, we have to install them...where does it say that...in the fine print on the flyer(need magnifying glass to find and read it)...ok how much are 2 tires mounted and balanced...$119.67...whats the extra fees for, two tires are only $67.90 + tax...mounting, balancing, new valve stems, 20pt vehicle check...i don't want a 20pt vehicle check, take the fee off...sorry, we can't do that sir, its an added charge; (again shows me fine print on the flyer with magnifying glass)...whats this extra fee per tire...your old tire disposal...i'll take them with me, take the $8 per tire fee off....sorry sir, we can't do that, we aren't allowed by law to let you take the old tires with you....who's law...state law...show it to me...i don't have a copy of that here, sir.

i stopped taking my car to firestone back in 99. they all suck and they dont get my business at all.
Auto repair is a nasty cut throat business and everyone from the mechanic to the customer is taking a gamble every time their car is repaired. Auto Repair hasn't improved since the day of the Model T and its obvious no one deeply understands the car or there would be far less repair blunders.
As for the tire, generally punctures in the center are repairable but Firstone might have a policy to have minimum tread left to do it, your tire might have been too thin. They might have feared a shifted belt (inside the tire) depending on the size and type of the puncture.
Mom and Pop might have just fixed the tire to make a buck and in reality it might not have been "100% correct to do so" Of Course there is a good chance Firestone had a tire sale too.

The flat was caused by a broken piece of metal that they left in the tire ! The new tube was flat in about 5 miles ! These guys aren't lying, they don't know enough to tell a lie.
say dont plug a tire the repair does not last.. take the tire off the rim remove the nail and patch inside with a tech tire patch.. that is the only way... all the shops need money and all lie that is why i advise people to do their own repairs.. you can fix this tire yourself its not hard.. and then its like new..

Into one acre or less, then it could be up to $15,000 per acre. Does it have pines on it - can they be harvested or the pine straw sold? Is it agricultural? Makes a difference on the way it is taxed.
Go on line to the Property Appraiser's site and see what it is currently classified as and how much they have it appraised for.

There will not be time to evacuate low land Wakulla on short notice.
Also, there are so many trees in Tallahassee that the streets in the town will be covered with them.
I would not be a permanent resident in Wakulla County.

1)Drive to Havana for the day (20 minutes max) and shop around all the cool little shops downtown- such neat stuff, especially the general store! There's a great cafe in The Cannery.
2) Another close drive- 45 minutes North to Thomasville. The downtown there is GORGEOUS with all kinds of really cool shops- as well as an ice cream/hot dog place that rocks!
3) Picnic lunch at the top of the Capital- free

4) Panama City is only 2 hours- hotels are expensive this time of year, BUT Boardwalk is only $129
