What are things to do around tallahassee?

I'm looking for something enjoyable to do around tallahasse that won't cost a fortune and only require lodging for one night. Preferebly somewhere within 2-2 1/2 hours away (or less)



Any suggestions of things to do, see, eat and stay are helpful. Just remember i'm a college student on a budget. Thanks :)What are things to do around tallahassee?
1)Drive to Havana for the day (20 minutes max) and shop around all the cool little shops downtown- such neat stuff, especially the general store! There's a great cafe in The Cannery.



2) Another close drive- 45 minutes North to Thomasville. The downtown there is GORGEOUS with all kinds of really cool shops- as well as an ice cream/hot dog place that rocks!



3) Picnic lunch at the top of the Capital- free



4) Wakulla Springs- clear and pretty, with a cool lodge if you want to spend the night http://www.wakullacounty.org/wakulla-24.鈥?/a>



4) Panama City is only 2 hours- hotels are expensive this time of year, BUT Boardwalk is only $129



5) SEASIDE! MUST SEE! It's too expensive to STAY there, but you can stay somewhere close and visit it! www.seasidefl.com

Go down to the Lighthouse at St Marks and visit, hike around the park, etc..
