Do you think the off week is going to help Oklahoma prepare for its trip to Tallahassee?

Or do you think it's going to get them out of game mode? I know it's time for them to get rest, but I'm not sure they shouldn't have played another tune-up game like FSU is doing.



What are your thoughts on this game? I know FSU was clobbered last year, but that Jimbo's second game as head coach and he was dealing with the mess Bowden left. Things are different in Tallahassee now.

Personally, I believe that the off week will backfire on Oklahoma. It is way too early in the season for a bye week. However, I do not believe that any of that will matter in the end. Bob Stoops always finds a way to waste talent. Keep in mind, Stoops managed to lose 5 games a few years ago with 3 of the Top 4 picks in the NFL Draft.



I see Florida State, on their home field, coming out on top. This will be the first of 3-4 losses Oklahoma will suffer this season.Do you think the off week is going to help Oklahoma prepare for its trip to Tallahassee?
I do worry a bit about the week off giving the players time to fret about the conference shake up. But it can't be helped so hopefully Bob keeps 'em focused. Should be a good un.
