I would utilize the following:
(1) apartments.com and rent.com -- do searches,
(2) craigslist.org -- post an ad,
(3) find out the local paper(s), contact them and purchase a copy of a weekday edition and a Sunday edition, and look for housing ads. If you find nothing, purchase a "housing wanted" ad with the paper you feel will reach your niche (short-term landlords) the best.
(4) ever think about subletting?
